		The Mill Pottery is in a former water-powered mill in Co. Tyrone, Ireland. Tom Agnew has been making his distinctive hand-thrown pottery there since 1976. This striking stoneware vase is 14.5 cm high and 7.5 cm diameter at the base tapering to a narrow, bottle-type top (click here for another view). The body is light beige clay and it is half-glazed in dark blue. The impressed backstamp (see photo) reads: Agnew. This vase is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.
