APJ Collectables James Kent, Old Foley: Vintage Chinarita Pin Dish
		The firm of James Kent, Old Foley, Longton, Staffordshire, was founded in 1897 and is still in existence. This pin dish from the Chinarita range (pattern 6473) is 10.5 cm square with a fluted rim. It is decorated with a nicely drawn design of roses in shades of grey, violet, pink and yellow and there is gilding round the edge. The gilded backstamp (see photo) reads: Old Foley, James Kent Ltd, Staffordshire, Made in England; Chinarita; 6473, with three gold spots by the backstamp. There is fine age-related crazing. I cannot be sure, but I think that this dish may date from before World War II. This dish is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. Contact us about this item. To order: see below
