APJ Collectables Midwinter Stylecraft Jam / Preserve Pot
		This china pot’s elegant shape is enhanced by John Russell's Kashmir design of flowers and leaves in soft shades of pink, grey and blue with the bottom of the lid and top of the jar edged with silver. It is 12 cm high (including the lid). The underside is backstamped with ‘Midwinter Stylecraft, Staffordshire, England ; Classic shape ; 12-63’ (see photo). I think that this means that the design originated in 1963. On the back under the glaze there are two pin-head paint dots which must have occurred during manufacture, otherwise this pot is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.
