APJ Collectables Royale, Staffordshire, China Vase
		This is a really lovely vase. The fine bone china and graceful shape are complemented with a decoration of flowers and leaves in luminous shades of pale blue and pink on the front and back (click here for another view) and there is gilding round the edge of the top and the bottom. The backstamp (see photo) has a crown and reads: Staffordshire; Royale; Fine Bone China; Made in England. I think that it probably dates from the middle to the latter part of the 20^th Century. There is a small scratch, less than a centimetre long, on the blue flower on the centre of the vase: it is too fine to show up in this photo, but it can be seen on this enlarged photo.
