APJ Collectables Royal Tara “Blue Cornflowers” Jam / Preserve Pot
		Since its establishment in 1953 Royal Tara of Galway has been a leading producer of Irish fine bone china. Royal Tara’s “Blue Cornflowers” pattern ceased production in the late 1980’s and is now becoming very collectable. This preserve pot has an elegant scalloped top and is 9 cm high (not including the lid) and 9.75 cm diameter. The pretty Blue Cornflowers pattern is in shades of mainly blue and soft grey and here is finished off with gilded bands on the top and bottom edges of the pot and on the lid and finial. The backstamp (see photo) shows Tara Hall, the home of Royal Tara, and reads: Royal Tara; Tara Hall; Fine Bone China; Made in Galway, Ireland.
