The Toni Raymond Pottery
was founded by husband and wife team Raymond Smith and his wife Toni in
Torquay, This ‘Mops and Things’
holder (which would also serve as a very nice vase) is 12 cm high and 8.25 cm
in circumference. It is typical of the
Toni Raymond style, with its brightly coloured hand-painted decorated of
flowers and leaves in orange-red and green (click here for another view). The bands on the top and bottom and the
‘Mops and Things’ legend are in black.
The backstamp (see photo) has a
bird in flight and reads: Toni Raymond
Pottery; West Country, England.
This jar is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or
